From July 1, 2009 through August 31, 2009 customers purchasing a Vespa S 150, Vespa LX 150 or Vespa LXV 150 (except for Special Edition Pink) scooter at participating dealerships will receive a $500 discount off the stated MSRP.

Appeal to Your Sporty Side... The styling of the new Vespa S traces its origins back to the legendary models like the 50 special and Vespa Primavera. With its clean, essential lines, the Vespa S is a mimimalist version of the legendary seventies models, and proof that the young spirit of Vespa is still very much alive.

The rectangular headlight and the front shield's uncluttered surface and minimal thickness are powerful design features. Reduced in size to revel the layout of the suspension, the new shape mudguard also features a stylish chrome trim for an even sleeker look. The seat is typically '70s i styling with contrast piping emphasizing its stylish shape.

Also available as an option is a single passenger "sport" seat. The rear of the Vespa S feaetures a sleek, simple look and a new tail light designed especially to distinguish this sporty model.

The Vespa S is also offered in a friendly neighborhood 50CC version. So take some time and see the sights. The S 50 lets you do an impressive city neighborhood speed of 39 mph to get you where you want to go, just not as fast at the 150CC version.

Brake at a red light with confidence, with the S's advanced mixed-type braking system. The front has a 7.8" diameter disc, with hydraulic linkage and a dual opposed piston hydraulic caliper. The back has a 4.3" diameter drum with mechanical linkage.
